Throughout our lives, death is what we fear the most. It comes in many different shapes and sizes, hitting us when we least expect it. I wanted death to take me in open arms but when it came for me...it didn’t. The bullet that went through my skull was supposed to kill me but through some miraculous miracle, I survived.
It wasn’t until three years later that I awoke from a coma. That’s when I met the Devil himself, Lucifer. He was surprised to see me alive but couldn’t understand how. That’s when he told me who I was, Death, one of the Four Horsemen of his Apocalypse. I was the last one he needed but because of my survival, it was put on hold.
Though he was angry at what happened, he decided to give me an ultimatum. He had decided to give me two weeks to find the man responsible for killing my wife and daughter but in return, I must end my own life so I may join him in Hell. If I did not abide by this, he would end the lives of the last remaining people I held dear...and I can’t let that happen.
About The Author
Michael A. Rockwell was born and raised in Bradenton Florida. He spent three years of his years living in upstate New York until eventually, he returned home to his family. In 2013 he self-published his first book, 'The Fox and the Wolf,' and went on to self-publish two more books later; one of them being the original first book of The four Horsemen Saga. Since his time back home, he had decided to re-evaluate his approach to writing and has gone forward in rebooting the saga.
